MTU X00035630 – Original Connecting Cable for Control Lever

Product Overview

The MTU X00035630 is an original MTU connecting cable designed for connecting a compatible control lever to the MTU engine or propulsion control system.

The cable provides the electrical connection required to transmit control-lever position and command signals between the operator control and the associated MTU electronic control equipment. In marine propulsion applications, the control lever can be used to communicate operator commands relating to engine speed and propulsion operation, depending on the system configuration.

Technical Specifications

Application & Compatibility

MTU X00035630 is intended for compatible MTU installations using an electronic control lever system. It may be particularly applicable to marine propulsion systems, where operator control-lever commands must be communicated to the engine and propulsion control electronics.

Compatibility Note

MTU X00035630 and X00035628 should not automatically be considered interchangeable, even though both are described as control-lever connecting cables. They may differ in cable length, connector configuration, pin assignment, or installation position.

Compatibility should therefore be confirmed using the MTU engine/system serial number, control-lever model, wiring diagram, automation-system configuration, and original installed part number.
