MTU X00035631 – Original Connecting Cable for Control Lever

Product Overview

The MTU X00035631 is an original MTU connecting cable designed for connecting a compatible control lever to an MTU engine or propulsion control system.

The cable provides the electrical interface required to transmit control-lever position and operator command signals between the control lever and associated MTU electronic control equipment. In compatible marine propulsion systems, these signals may be used for engine-speed and propulsion-control functions.

Technical Specifications

Application & Compatibility

MTU X00035631 is intended for compatible MTU installations equipped with an electronic control-lever system. It is particularly relevant to marine propulsion installations, where operator commands from the control lever are communicated to engine and propulsion control electronics.

Compatibility Note

MTU X00035631, X00035628, X00035630, and X00035633 have similar descriptions as control-lever connecting cables, but they should not automatically be considered interchangeable.

They may differ in cable length, connector arrangement, pin assignment, installation position, or control-system version. Compatibility should be confirmed using the MTU engine/system serial number, control-lever model, wiring diagram, and original installed cable part number.
