Technical Specifications

Application & Compatibility

MTU X00035642 is intended for compatible MTU engine installations requiring an electrical connection for engine-speed sensing or monitoring. Depending on the engine and automation configuration, it may be used in marine propulsion, generator, and industrial MTU applications.

Compatibility Note

Compatibility should be verified using the MTU engine serial number, speed-sensor arrangement, control-system configuration, wiring diagram, and existing cable part number.

Similar MTU engine-speed cables can differ in connector type, pin assignment, cable length, and monitoring-system generation, so X00035642 should be matched to the specific installation before replacement.
